When I ask you to describe a footballer's style, what picture comes to your mind? What brands do you associate with?
Don't say it out loud. Palm Angels, Amiri, Offwhite, Balenciaga & many more. Same with Rappers. Name a single rapper who dresses well. Question to the public - Why? Why do they all look like clowns? Like a walking billboard? Is it really bragging? If you earn 500K a week, what does a 2K outfit do for you in terms of communication of wealth?
We. The Qool Concept Store in Düsseldorf, hereby we invite every footballer to come by. We can flip it like Beckham and ensure that your next Tunnel or Locker Room fit is approved by any coach. The GQ, Vogue or TMZ.
We have been football fans since kindergarten and juggle with fashion since our teenage years, and there are only a handful of footballers who managed to match their skillset on the pitch to their wardrobe. One and only, never forgotten and currently reborn with his Netflix Series is Sir David Beckham.
No other football player shaped and fused both worlds so effortlessly. Not meaning he never missed, but if you want the glory, you got to have the guts. He became a global fashion icon, often copied but rarely reached. Becoming the face of several brands like Belstaff, H&M & Armani to name a few. At weddings he made sure he outperforms the groom effortlessly. Whenever he hits the red carpet, it is clear that it is worth a closer look at the outfit. With age he moved away from flashy, loud and experimental pieces to some staples and classics.
We frame our concept as scandi with a spritz of urban or use our favorite newly created word: scandilian (a mix of scandinavian and italian). Brands like NN07, Barbour, OAS, Samsoe Samsoe, Amendi & more perfectly shape this look.
See you at the Pitch.
